Due to heavy rainfall and flooding in Western Manitoba, service disruptions and delays are currently affecting some areas.
Current Service Impacts
Swan River and surrounding communities:
- Freight destined for Swan River proper will move tonight, with deliveries beginning July 3rd
- Freight for Minitonas, Bowsman and Lenswood will also move to the Swan River terminal; however, delivery delays are expected as conditions continue to evolve.
- All other communities surrounding Swan River will continue to be held in Winnipeg
Dauphin and surrounding areas:
- Service will continue within the City of Dauphin and to locations southeast of Dauphin.
- Fork River and Winnipegosis are now accessible and will be serviced.
- All other communities surrounding Dauphin will continue to be held in Winnipeg
Swan River Washout Surcharge
- All LTL shipments will be diverted using highway 16 and 9, adding 171 kilometers (one-way), will be subject to a temporary Swan River Washout (SRW) surcharge of $4.24/CWT with a minimum charge of $21.20 per shipment, to a maximum of $848.00 per shipment. All LTL flat deck shipments will see the same maximum surcharge of $848.00 and that surcharge will be pro-rated based on the rated linear footage of the LTL shipment. A minimum surcharge of $62.59 per shipment will apply to all flat deck shipments.
