We are currently seeking a Nights Shunt Driver to join our team in our Sudbury Terminal.
The Job
The Shunt Driver is responsible for coordinating and completing the timely movement of trailers at the terminal facility. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and organizational skills as you work in cooperation with other terminal staff members to ensure efficient use of the yard tractor, as well as trailers. This position calls for a high physical demand with frequent stops and climbing in/out of tractors and trailers.
The Need
- Monday – Friday 1:00am – 9:30am (hours could vary depending on operational needs)
- AZ license
- Reports to Terminal manager
Primary roles:
- Shunting
- Keeping trailers in yard organized
- Cleaning and maintenance of yard, dock and ramp
- Paperwork
- Any and all other tasks as required by operations
